Clinical Trial with CITIOXO in Hepatitis

Abstract

|
We have administered citioxo tablets which are citiolone prepartions to seventeen patients with acute hepatitis (hepatitis A and hepatitis C), one with hepatitis B and fifteen with chronic hepatitis and acquired the following results chiefly by performing the liver function test.
Serum transaminase values were shown to decrease faster and : more considerably on seventeen cases with acute hepatitis, compared with twenty cases of controls.
Subjective symptoms and the recovery of general conditions were generally fair. With the above study we think citioxo can be safely administered without any side reactions.
